Section members are encouraged to get involved with the Section’s committees, which are volunteer-powered and a great way to get to know your colleagues. You do not need to be a member of the EPP Leadership Council to participate on a committee.
The standing EPP Section committees are:
- Conference Planning. Co-Chairs, One Ferguson (oferguson@cbuilding.org) and Jody Erickson (jerickson@keystone.org). Plans the annual section conference, and provides continuity from previous conferences.
- Professional Development & Member Services. Co-Chairs, Joan Sabott (jsabott@mediate.org) and Nancy Sharpless (nancy.b.sharpless@gmail.com). Coordinates activities to assist the educational, training and professional development of our members. Currently working on producing webinars and developing a mid-level practitioner peer learning network.
- New Directions. Chair, John Jostes (jjostes@cox.net). Focuses on growing and evolving the environmental and public policy ADR field, including adding value to the practice, identifying leadership opportunities, and articulating the unique needs and interests of the EPP Section.
- Web Communications. Chair, Jason Gershowitz (jgershowitz@resolv.org). Coordinates website content development and maintenance, facilitates communication with and among EPP members, and serves a clearinghouse role to facilitate effective use of technology to support our field.
